"Follow that Bird" was a good movie, though.

This is what happens when you share a Netflix account with your sister.

2. "The Nietzsche Family Circus pairs a randomized Family Circus cartoon with a randomized Friedrich Nietzsche quote."

3. On a similar note, 3eanuts removes the last panel of Peanuts comic strips, leaving you with that existentially empty feeling.

4. Gingerbread cookies. I've modified this recipe slightly to suit my cookie baking/consumption needs, and it suits me nicely:
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons freshly grated ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup light molasses
  • PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees F.
  • COMBINE flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and salt in small bowl.
  • BEAT butter, sugar, egg and molasses in large bowl until creamy. Gradually beat in flour mixture until well blended.  Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • BAKE for 9 to 11 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
